"I think it's an incredible piece of real estate," Trump speaking on Gaza in the company of Benjamin Netanyahu, April 7, 2025.

Bibi and Trump
Two Genocidal Geriatrics

You can always bet on Trump to say the quiet part out loud. Even when speaking of genocide, he is unable to play the equivocator. While the Biden admin made weak attempts to obscure the reality of their complicity—providing humanitarian aid while simultaneously sending billions to Israel to aid in the slaughter—Trump lacks the scruples to know that complicity in atrocity is something that should be obscured. His lack of tact exposes the beast.

Make no mistake. We are complicit in Israel’s ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people. We were under Biden, and we are now, under Trump. Our government is funding this butchery with our taxes. They’re disappearing activists who dare to speak out against these horrors—who dare utter the word, “genocide.” They’re tarnishing the remembrance of past atrocities through accusations of antisemitism against people, many of them Jews themselves, who don’t want to see their government engaged in the ethnic cleansing of innocents.

Don’t let the Palestinian people and their plight fade into the background. What is happening to them could very well happen to any of us. If our government will use and enable violence abroad, it will use and enable violence at home.

This is exactly what Martin Niemöller cautioned humanity about when he wrote down his famous words. Today, we have a new verse: “First they came for the Palestinians, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Palestinian."

We cannot become complacent in the face of atrocity. Once normalized, it will spread.
